HeatherToddBioHeather Todd, Practice Manager

With 25+ years of veterinary industry experience, Heather joined the Mercy family in June of 2014. A native of Pelham Alabama, Heather attended Auburn University as an Animal and Dairy Science major. Heather manages the Client Services Team and assists the veterinarians in daily hospital and marketing operations. She has an immense passion for animal advocacy and animal health education. Her free time is spent on her small family farm with 5 dogs, 6 cats and 2 horses. Feel free to ask Heather any questions you may have regarding your pet or your experience at Mercy Animal Hospital or just to say “hello”.

 

 

KatPhillipsBioKat Phillips, Head Veterinary Technician

Kat joined the Mercy team in 2008. With 20+ years of veterinary technician experience, Kat brings with her vast knowledge of veterinary medicine and leadership skills. Kat manages our team of 8 veterinary technicians and keeps the hospital running smoothly and efficiently throughout each day. Kat’s favorite aspect of veterinary medicine is dental health care, intensive care and surgery. She shares her home with her dogs, Lugz and Ruby, cats, Vinnie, Leon, Butters and Daisy, a Cockatiel named Frodi and several chickens and rabbits as well as her husband, Doug and daughter, Tabitha.

 

Dan BioDan Curry, Kennel Manager

Dan has been with Mercy since our first day open, in 2007. Dan manages the kennel team and ensures each and every pet’s stay in our facility is a comfortable and fun one! Dan shares his home with his wife, Connie and with their many cats and dogs. In addition, Dan also is our Bark ‘N Stretch coordinator and Canine Adoption Coordinator.

 

KatPhillipsBioJenna Ingle, Adoption Coordinator

Jenna Joined the Mercy team in August of 2015 as a Kennel Technician and in 2016 she also became our Adoption Coordinator. In 2017, she transitioned to the hospital as a Veterinary Technician. Jenna shares her life and home with her dogs, Marshall, Maverick and her Ball Python, Khaleesi. In her free time, Jenna enjoys hiking, horseback riding and fishing. She says she loves getting to know the adoptable pets and sending them to grow and flourish in their new, loving, forever homes. Jenna enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially dental surgery and microbiology.

 

 

 

Client Services Team

At Mercy, we believe a great hospital begins with a great support team. No matter the reason for your visit, your first experience will almost always be with a member of our friendly and knowledgeable front of office staff. If you have questions about your visit, your account, or any other general questions, any member of our team will be happy to assist you.

Technicians

Our Veterinary Technicians work hand in hand with our doctors to provide the best possible medical care for our patients. Trained to assist our doctors in surgery, dentistry, radiology, ultrasound and treatments, our techs help to ensure that your pet receives the one-on-one attention it deserves during your visit. You may meet our techs in an exam room while waiting for the doctor, or you may speak to one of them on the phone to inquire about your pet’s care. Either way, please introduce yourself and ask any questions that you may have.

Kennel Technicians

Our health care team would not be complete without our caring and dedicated Kennel Technicians. Responsible for the overall well-being of all pets that board here at Mercy, our Kennel Tech’s maintain extra-clean facilities, feed, water and walk, monitor general pet safety, and provide soothing baths for our boarding guests. You may meet one of our kennel tech’s when your pet is brought up from boarding or a bath. Please feel free to ask them any questions about your pet during its stay. They’ll be happy to tell you everything!

Drop-off and pick up hours: 7am-6pm Monday-Friday; 7am-noon on Saturday. Appointments appreciated, walk-ins welcome. Appointments not available during the hours of 12pm and 2pm.
